Giant Harlington Yew Tree pruned into art 1729 1825
The remains of this Yew Tree are infront of St Peter and St Paul Church in Harlington. John Saxy (Gardener) pruned the tree during the annual Whitsun Fair till his death in 1741, and pruning was continued by William Cottrel (Master Carpenter) and his son till 1825. The tree was damaged by gales in 1959 (and is probably ready for someone to start pruning it aggain!)

2021 - The almost 300 year old Harlington Yew Tree is infront of St Peter and St Paul Church, Harlington.
