Converted to a house, the rear of the building is the former King Henry public house. The front part of the property has been rebuilt, using old material, after a fire. All the walls have exposed timber framing with brick filling and tiled roofs. The adjacent stables are also of interest with an early diamond mullioned window. The buildings are in poor condition, but have been secured by the owner. They have been included in larger development proposals.

1. 5018 BATH ROAD (North Side) LONGFORD No 456 (The Stables) TQ 0516 NW 36/5 II 2. The back part of this building is the former 'King Henry' public house. The front part has been rebuilt, using some old material, after a fire. All walls of exposed timber framing with brick filling; tiled roofs. The bay immediately behind the front part is of C16 and some of the brick filling is old. It contains a truss with very heavy arch braced tie beam. There is a brick dated 1691 which may be the date of the timber-framed part adjoining. Behind this again is an addition probably of early C19.
