HACAN Rally Says "No" - 3rd March 2015
Big name speakers at HACAN rally

Come and join us on 3rd March 2015

Starts 7pm - Church House Conference Centre, Deanís Yard, Westminster SW1P 3NZ

No one who opposes expansion at Heathrow can sit back and wait until after the General Election to find out where our politicians stand on the issue. So, while we wait for the Davies Commission recommendation on future runways in the south-east, HACAN is hosting a rally in solidarity against expansion at Heathrow. Members from all sides of our coalition will be there.

Speakers will include:
Vince Cable: Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills
Natalie Bennett: Leader Green Party
Steven Norris: Former Conservative transport minister
John Sauven: Chief Executive Greenpeace
Andy Atkins: Chief Executive Friends of the Earth
Ravi Govinda: Leader Wandsworth Council
Manuel Cortes: General Secretary TSSA Union
Chris Baugh: Assistant General Secretary PCS Union
Jill Seymour MEP: UKIPís national transport spokesman
Caroline Pidgeon: Liberal Democrat Leader Greater London Assembly
Christian Wolmar: Labour mayoral candidate
Zac Goldsmith MP, John McDonnell MP, John Randall MP, Mary Macleod MP and Andy Slaughter MP

This is a great opportunity to show our solidarity and hear the reasons why politicians, cabinet members, political leaders and campaigners believe the third runway must not go ahead.
