Baden Powell Camp Recap!
We just wrapped up an incredible Baden Powell Camp at Gordon Park Matopos from the 16-18 February 2024,
and what an unforgettable experience it was! We had the privilege of hosting some amazing schools/Groups,
including Pumula High School, Sizane High, Gifford High School, St. Columba's High, Manama Primary, 1st Pioneer
Scout Group, and St John Ambulance. Thank you all for joining us and making this event a resounding success!
The camp officially kicked off on Saturday with a special ceremony in remembrance of our founder, Lord Baden Powell.
It was a moment of reflection and inspiration as we honored his legacy and embraced the values of scouting.
We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our generous sponsors who made this camp
possible. A big shoutout to NMB Bank Zimbabwe for their support in ensuring that we were well-dressed and
protected from the sun. Your contribution made a significant difference, and we are immensely grateful.
We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Silo Food Industries Zimbabwe, Evergold, and Tap-All
for their invaluable support in keeping us well-fed throughout the camp. Your delicious meals and refreshments
energized us and added to the overall enjoyment of the event. We are truly thankful for your partnership.
To all the participants, Service Team, and Commissioners who dedicated their time and effort to make this
camp a success, we applaud your commitment and enthusiasm. Your passion for scouting and your unwavering
dedication to creating a memorable experience for everyone involved is truly commendable.
The Baden Powell Camp was filled with exciting activities, team-building exercises, and opportunities for personal
growth. It was a time for forging lifelong friendships, learning new skills, and embracing the spirit of adventure.
We hope that this camp has left a lasting impact on each and every one of you.
